Alana De La Garza was born in 1976 to the Mexican-American father and Irish-American mother. She has been a popular actress on TV. Following a brief time, her character moved onto Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards for her character, such as Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominees. In 2008, De La Garza won the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a recurring character in CSI Miami a short time later. She was Marisol Deko and was also the wife to David Caruso's character Horatio. As the character Dr. Lena Solis, she was most recently seen on NBC's rather dark drama Do No Harm. After two short episodes the show was canceled.
