Ashanti Shequoiya, also called Ashanti is an extremely well-known American actress and singer. She is a US singer and songwriter. Ashanti sang on Fat Joe's song"What's Luv?" and Ja Rule's Always On Time. Ashanti sampled the track of 1983 by DeBarge Stay With Me for her first single Foolish. Ashanti released her self-titled debut album in 2002 through Irv Gotti's Murder Inc. label. The Declaration is her fourth studio-album, was released in June of 2008. Hey Baby After the Club came out on October 16 for radio and digital outlets. The actress starred in the movie Christmas in the City and was Latasha Montclair on Army Wives.
