Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor is best known for his character on the show on television 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. In college, he began to explore the world of acting. While at the University of Colorado at Boulder, he studied acting. Though he has been active in both films and television, the characters he has played on the small screen that have earned him recognition and followers. It is no surprise that his talent is playing characters of both the positive and negative sides. He is also able to draw an audience. On his debut TV show He played the part of a murderer. Then, he went on to perform the role of a NYPD Detective. His small-screen performances were rewarded with numerous Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. The piercingly blue eyes of his face are considered to be the most appealing element. Also, they are regarded as a trademark, and are credited with helping him portray characters who were rough however enthralling. In 2006, he was featured in the People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
